Import from UK Query
Hi Everyone
My friend and I have started a small business called Bright-Box which is about selling quality products to moms for their kids. Our first product we have done research in and is only in two retail stores in SA but they have limited (we think) variety. We have a quote to import from the manufacturer in the UK and have a decent GP from the outlook with the books landing at our front door in JHB. We are wanting to do our first shipment within the next 30-60 days and I am worried that it might not be this simple. What are our possible risks that we are not looking at regarding importing? I am not sure I want to find out the hard way

Thank you @Chairman for your referral. Chris was really helpful and has highlighted all risks and additional costs that could be incurred. We have been able to adjust our costing correctly and have found other ways to test the market until our first shipment arrives.
