Attention NPO founders and board members: the Department of Social Development (DSD) has confirmed a temporary shutdown of the Non‑Profit Organisation (NPO) registration system from 31 July to 31 August 2025. This upgrade aims to improve capacity and functionality across web and mobile applications.
Key points to note:

All existing applications, reports, change requests, and foundation updates submitted before 31 July will continue to be processed.

New registrations and updates will not be accepted during the system outage.

Official electronic certificates will still be issued via email to registered email addresses; these remain valid and printable.
